Opportunity discovery should be usable by everyone

We aim to make JobsHub accessible across devices, input methods and assistive technology. That is an ongoing effort, not a one-time claim.

What we work toward

  • Keyboard access to every control, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Readable text, sensible heading order and descriptive page titles.
  • Labels connected to form fields, with errors announced to screen readers.
  • Contrast checked for text, borders and status indicators.
  • Status information that does not rely on colour alone.
  • Touch targets that are comfortable to use on a phone.
  • Layouts that remain usable at 200% zoom and on narrow screens.
  • Respect for the reduced-motion preference.

Tested, not assumed

We check the assembled product with keyboard navigation and narrow viewports. A component library claiming to be accessible is not proof that a page works. If you find a barrier, we want to know.

Report a barrier

Tell us as much as you can, without including sensitive personal information:

  • The page or feature you were using.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened instead.
  • Any assistive technology, browser or device details you are comfortable sharing.

Use the contact form and choose “Something else”, or email us if a public contact address is listed on that page.

How we respond

We review reported barriers and prioritise fixes by their impact and feasibility. We will not publish a conformance claim until an appropriate audit supports it.

This page describes our intent and current practice. It is not a certification of compliance with any accessibility standard.
